Graduating Moorestown High School Seniors

Moorestown Home & School is proud to choose up to five MHS graduating seniors each year to receive a $1000 scholarship towards their higher eduction.  ​

Eligibility requirements:​

​

• Family is a current member of Moorestown Home and School Association

• Graduating Moorestown High School senior

• Attending post graduate education (college/university/trade school/etc)

• Provide a completed application following the instructions provided and submitted before the application window closes.

Selection process is as follow:

​

• A scholarship chair is voted on each spring and chooses a committee that will review and vote on applications.  Voting committee members are not associated with individuals in the MHS senior class.

• Only one member of the Board of Trustees has access to the application data with identifying information.  This individual is not permitted to be a member of the scholarship committee.

• Each applicant is assigned a number.  All identifying information (name/address/parent information) is removed from the application.  The redacted application is sent to the committee when the application window closes.

• Once applicants are chosen, names are provided to MHS for distribution during Senior Recognition Night.

Essay: How have you impacted your community, or how has your community impacted you? 

​

• 500 Words or less

• Please do not utilize your common application essay or a resume. 

• Remove all references to your name/address/etc within the essay or in the file name to keep it anonymous.

• All files must be in PDF format only.

Scholarship application process will return in Spring 2025.
