Scholarships

Graduating Moorestown High School Seniors
Moorestown Home & School is proud to choose up to five MHS graduating seniors each year to receive a $1,000 scholarship towards their higher eduction. ​
We will also choose one MHS graduating senior for the Clark Bucko Memorial Scholarship which will be $1,500 towards their education. The Clark Bucko Memorial Scholarship was created in 2001 by Dr. Richard Bucko, a former Principal of Baker Elementary School. It was designed to reward a student with a love of literature.

Eligibility requirements:​

Family is a current member of Moorestown Home and School Association

Graduating Moorestown High School senior
-
Attending post graduate education (college/university/trade school/etc)

Provide a completed application following the instructions provided and submitted before the application window closes.

Selection process:

A scholarship chair is voted on each spring and chooses a committee that will review and vote on applications. Voting committee members are not associated with individuals in the MHS senior class.

Only one member of the Board of Trustees has access to the application data with identifying information. This individual is not permitted to be a member of the scholarship committee.

Each applicant is assigned a number. All identifying information (name/address/parent information) is removed from the application. The redacted application is sent to the committee when the application window closes.

Once applicants are chosen, names are provided to MHS for distribution during Senior Recognition Night on June 10, 2025.
