Moorestown LAX Bobbleheads
Looking for a fun and competitive spring sport? Have little ones who want to learn about the game of lacrosse? Moorestown Lacrosse Club’s Bobbleheads Program is the perfect introduction to the sport! It is a fun, structured 8-week clinic designed for our youngest players to help learn the basics of the sport, while having a great time with their friends. No equipment is needed! We provide all Bobbleheads players with their own stick, ball, and T-shirt.
For more information about Moorestown Lacrosse Club, and to register your Kindergartener for our Bobbleheads program, please visit MoorestownLax.com or email MoorestownLacrosseClub@gmail.com.
Donate Gently Used Books to BookSmiles
The Interact Club at Moorestown High School has partnered with BookSmiles. BookSmiles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to help all children build their own library, one story at a time. Since its inception, BookSmiles has promoted literacy and the joy of reading by giving nearly two million books to New Jersey and Philadelphia children who need them most. (Website: https://www.booksmiles.org/)
All families are encouraged to donate gently used books to this organization. A collection bin has been placed outside of the main entrance to each school in our district. Each collection bin is painted and features the BookSmiles logo. The top of each collection bin also displays the message, "DONATE BOOKS HERE." The Interact Club will periodically collect the books from these bins and deliver them to BookSmiles.
