Membership

You’re never too late to sign up for Moorestown Home and School Association! Go to MHSA Membership to join. Calendars continue to be sent home this week. Check in with your students each day to see if one was given to them at school.

Harlem Wizards

Home & School is excited to welcome back the Harlem Wizards for one night only at the MAC (Moorestown High School Athletic Center) on Friday, October 13th against our very own Moorestown teachers! Tickets are still available! Prices start at $15 for students and $25 for adults.

Baker Home and School Meeting

Roberts Home and School Meeting

Please join us for our first Home and School meeting on Thursday, September 21 at 9:30. You can join us in-person in the Media Center or virtually (link will be sent prior to meeting). We will be discussing our calendar of events this year, and there will be opportunities to sign up for activities!


Book Fair

Get ready to tackle a good book! The Roberts Football Scholastic Book Fair will run Monday, October 2 through Friday, October 6. Save the date for Evening Book Fair Hours on Thursday, October 5. More information to follow!


SOUTH VALLEY


South Valley Home & School Meeting

Please join us for our first Home and School meeting on Tuesday, September 19th at 9:30am. You can join us in-person in the cafeteria or virtually. Please see a separate email for the virtual link.

Spirit Wear on Back To School Night

While you visit your child’s classroom and meet their teacher at Back to School NIght (9/28), logo spirit wear for South Valley will be available for purchase in the school. Kids sizes Youth Small through Youth Large are $10. Payment is cash only.

Book Fair

It’s Scholastic BOOK FAIR time at South Valley! We are ready to help your Happy Campers add S’more books to their home library at the South Valley Happy Camper Book Fair from Monday, October 2nd to Friday, October 6th. Mark your calendars to shop together with your children at the book fair evening shopping hours on Thursday, October 6th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm!

More information about the book fair will be coming home soon. You can also visit the book fair website to learn more about the fair, sign up for eWallet digital payment and shop the fair online. Be on the lookout for Parent Volunteer opportunities coming up as well!


No Food Left Behind

South Valley's "No Food Left Behind" program is resuming this week and volunteers are needed to bring the unopened cafeteria food donations to the food pantry every week on Thursday mornings. Moorestown SpEAC

Come join us for our first meeting Tuesday 9/26 6:00pm at the Moorestown High School Star building. There will be a virtual option as well. If your child has an IEP or a 504 Plan, you should attend!


SpEAC (Special Education Advocacy Council) is a parent-run organization that provides a forum to discuss important challenges facing our children in the Moorestown schools and community.

MOOREKIDS 10th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME SWAP

The event will be held on Saturday 10/21 at the Moorestown Library (9:30-1:00). Donate your child’s old costume and/or pick up a “new” one. Donation bins are located at the Moorestown library or you can bring them on the 21st. Costumes are FREE to all!
