District Positions
In addition to the individual school chair positions, Home & School has several district level positions that oversee the business and many events in the district. If you are interested in any of the positions below, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org. If you are interested in any of the other positions that currently have been slated, you may find them in the calendar and inquire about them as well!
Communications VP- Board of Trustees position managing Monday email communication, all social media (currently Facebook & Instagram), website administration & maintenance, membership administration and calendar creation & distribution (Some committee level positions are created to include others to execute a portion of these responsibilities) For a full description, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org.
Boosterthon Chairs (1 more) - District level chairs needed to organize, plan and execute the Boosterthon fundraiser held at the 3 lower schools, and Upper Elementary School. School chairs are also provided to assist with the execution of the fundraising event. For a full description, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org.
Book Fair Chair (1) - District level chair, who has previously been a book fair chair at any of the Moorestown schools, to help school book fair chairs communicate with Scholastic, manage finances, and assist during all book fairs where needed.
Moorestown Apparel Store
The Moorestown Apparel Store is NOW OPEN! This spring, our selection includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers, jackets and more! The store will be open until Friday, 3/5.
Please note: Turnaround time is approximately two weeks from 3/5, not from your purchase date. Direct home delivery only. All sales are final. Items are custom ordered and no refunds or exchanges can be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Baker Staff Appreciation
Staff Appreciation week is coming and we are hosting a special luncheon to celebrate their tireless efforts in providing quality education to our students!

Baker Science Day
Amanda Skoumbourdis and Home & School would like to extend their appreciation to the family, friends and community volunteers that provided Science and Arts presentations at Baker on Friday. The day was a huge success and the students were thrilled to share in the S.T.E.A.M. activities. THANK YOU!! Thank you, as well, to Amanda for hard work and organization to make this day happen!
Third Grade Memory Book
Attention 3rd Grade Parents: Please help us complete the 3rd grade memory book by sending your baby/toddler photos to the following email address: bakerschool00@gmail.com. Please submit by April 31st.
In addition, if you child is interested in submitting their Baker art for the cover contest please send in to school by the end of April. This can be completed on 8x11 paper and be anything Baker related!
Baker H&S ’23-’24 Slate
The Baker H & S community will vote on next year’s position during our May H & S meeting. Please fill out this form if you are interested in helping out! The form is located here. 3rd Grade Dance
Our third graders will be "Glowing Out in Style" at the 3rd Grade Dance on 5/19 from 6:30-8 pm! Third Graders in Baker, Roberts and South Valley are welcome to choose their special grown up guest (parent, guardian, family member/friend, etc) to celebrate with during the evening. (This is not a drop off event.)
Guests are encouraged to wear semi-formal attire with bright colors or whites and neons to help them “glow through the night”.
Tickets will be on sale today 4/17 through Friday, 5/19 at 12pm. One ticket covers both student and their special grownup guest. There will be no ticket sales at the door. Thank you for understanding. A volunteer/snack signup genius will be available closer to the event.

Beach Blanket Bingo
South Valley Home & School invites all South Valley families to a fun night of outdoor BINGO and giving! Bring a blanket to sit on and join us on Thursday, May 11th at 5:30pm on South Valley’s front yard. The cost of admission is a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the local food pantry. Recess Runners
There are still a few spots open to volunteer for Recess Runners! The weather is getting nicer and it's the perfect opportunity to spend time with your child during the school day while helping students log their laps! 2023 Project Graduation Senior Parent Appeal
MHS Class of 2023 Parents, we need your help! Plans for the Class of 2023 Project Graduation are well underway and we need your support to help make the all-night, alcohol and drug free, graduation celebration for our seniors a success.
The cost of Project Graduation is approximately $250 per graduate. Please help the Class of 2023’s event with a tax-deductible donation. Any contribution is appreciated!

Moorestown Project Graduation is selling lawn signs to celebrate the Moorestown High School Class of 2023. Personalized signs (with your graduate’s first name) can be ordered on our website, link is as follows:

Moorestown Speac Event
Moorestown SpEAC in partnership with Moorestown Schools is doing An Overview of Dyslexia and Executive Functioning. This will be on Tuesday, May 2nd from 6-7pm at the Moorestown High School Star Center. The objective of the presentation is to increase understanding and offer tools for parents to support their child. Please note these are 2 separate topics. This is an in person event.
