District Positions
In addition to the individual school chair positions, Home & School has several district level positions that oversee the business and many events in the district. If you are interested in any of the positions below, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org. If you are interested in any of the other positions that currently have been slated, you may find them in the calendar and inquire about them as well!
VP Communications - Board of Trustees position managing Monday email communication, all social media (currently Facebook & Instagram), website administration & maintenance, membership administration and calendar creation & distribution (Some committee level positions are created to include others to execute a portion of these responsibilities) For a full description, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org.
Wizards Chairs (2) - District level chairs needed to organize, plan, and execute the Wizards basketball event to be held spring 2024. Some committee level positions are created to include others to execute a portion of these responsibilities. Position starts as soon as possible.
Boosterthon Chairs (2) - District level chairs needed to organize, plan and execute the Boosterthon fundraiser held at the 3 lower schools, and Upper Elementary School. School chairs are also provided to assist with the execution of the fundraising event. For a full description, please contact info@moorestownhsa.org.
Book Fair Chair (1) - District level chair who has previously been a book fair chair at any of the Moorestown schools to help school book fair chairs communicate with Scholastic, manage finances, and assist during all book fairs where needed.
Calendar Creation (additional chair needed) - District level chair who will work with the other district chair already in position to create the Moorestown Home & School Calendar that is distributed through the district and the community. Individual attends district & community meetings, gathers sponsors, and is fundamental in the development of the iterations necessary to creating the calendar to be sent out to print. Position starts as soon as possible.
Boosterthon Thank You
An enormous thank you to Caty Berman and all of the individual school Boosterthon chairs, school chairs, principals and teachers for pulling together yet another fantastic Boosterthon! We are all incredibly thankful for their hard work managing the 3 lower elementary schools and the Upper Elementary School events and fundraising!

Moorestown Apparel Store
Mark your calendar! The Moorestown Apparel Store will be open right after Spring Break from Monday, 4/17 through Friday, 5/5. PLEASE NOTE: Items will not be produced until after the store closes on May 5th. Turnaround time is approximately two weeks from May 5th, not from your purchase date. All sales are final and since items are custom ordered, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

Senior Scholarships
Moorestown Home & School is distributing five (5) $1000 scholarships to outgoing Moorestown High School seniors this year. Applications will be accepted from now until 4/28/23 at 11:59pm. Please fill out your application here: 2023 Scholarships

MHS Home & School Meeting
Our next monthly H&S meeting will be April 5th at 9:30 at the high school and on Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed the day before. Light refreshments will be provided.
WAMS
7th Grade S.T.E.M. Career Day - We still need volunteers!!
The Moorestown Home and School Association is excited to collaborate with WAMS to bring a S.T.E.M. Career Day for 7th grade students on Friday, May 5th from 1:00pm to 2:45pm. This is a great opportunity for you to help students understand how exciting and rewarding careers built from S.T.E.M. skills can be! We are seeking up to 24 volunteers who will develop and present interactive sessions to three groups of rotating students. This will be a hands-on, fun-filled afternoon for all of our 7th graders.Thank you in advance for your help to make this day a success – we cannot make this happen without community support. UES Book Fair
Thank you to our to our book fair chairs, Jenn Montalto, Sarah Amato, Caitlin Conway, Sonia Bodiwala, and Tracy Darby for a super Groovy Book Fair this past week. Thank you, as well, to all of our parents and students for supporting reading in our schools and helping both our library and teachers fill their rooms with new books and for supporting Moorestown Home & School!
BAKER
Baker Science Day
The Baker H&S committee is excited to support the 13th Annual Science Day on Friday, April 21st, 2023. This is a hands-on, fun-filled day for all of our students to engage in S.T.E.A.M. activities. Kindergarten presentations will be from 11am-11:45am; First, Second and Third grade presentations (2 for each class) will be from 1:30pm-3:15pm. We are seeking volunteers who will develop and present interactive sessions. This is a great opportunity for you to share your love of S.T.E.A.M. to our youngest learners. Book Fair

SOUTH VALLEY
Food For All Friday
South Valley's April Food For All collection will take place on THURSDAY, April 6th. If you are able, kindly send items into school with your child or drop them off in the bin in the lobby. The Food Pantry is incredibly appreciative of the continuing generosity of our community! In particular need this month are proteins (canned chicken, tuna, and spam), breakfast items, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, and personal care items. Thank you again for your generosity!
Recess Runners
Recess Runners is starting at South Valley right after Spring Break! The weather is getting nicer and it's the perfect opportunity to spend time with your child during the school day while helping students log their laps! Sign up for a Tuesday or Thursday recess period. Please only sign up for two dates initially. Volunteers cannot bring younger children with them to Recess Runners.
STEAM Week
Many thanks to the SV Community for decorating the hallways with the South Valley Career Halls of Fame and special thanks to the parent presenters who showcased a variety of careers to our students on Career Day. A huge thank you to Mary Staehle for organizing such an amazing STEAM Week!
3rd Grade Memory Book
